We are proud to announce the launch of the South African Surfing Legends Academy – a high performance centre that will primarily focus on the advancement of South African junior surfing.
For decades, South Africa was a major surfing force and our aim is to re-establish that status and create a winning culture for future generations.
The academy will utilize the best facilities and programs available. These include coaching, fitness training, clinical psychology, dietetics, biokinetics, physiotherapy and other subsidiary services.SA Rugby Legends founder, Gavin Varejes will launch the Academy at the Legends Gala Charity Dinner to be held at the Elangeni Hotel in Durban on the 12th May, 2015.
The MC for the event is renowned Durban comedian, Aaron Mcilroy.
Shaun Tomson is the key note speaker.
Besides the entertainment, we will be auctioning some historic memorabilia.
It’s will be an evening to remember. We’d love to see you there.
Tables that seat ten people are available at R15,000. Individual tickets are R1500 per person.

The primary objective is to create future South African world champions using well established programs facilitated and managed by the Legends.
South African Surfing Legends will also make a donation to ‘Surfers Not Street Children’ from the proceeds of the event.
